Tasting Notes

Enticing aromas of bing cherry, red currant, wild strawberry, tilled soil, anise and sagebrush. Luscious red fruits dance alongside candied orange peel on the medium bodied, seamless palate. Satiny, superfine tannins carry a savory olive note, leading to a plum and apricot fruit finish.

Winemaking: Cold soak, NT116 and D80 yeasts, extended maceration on Syrah only, natural malolactic fermentation

Oak: 24 months in 25% new French oak (Dargaud & Jaegle Selection 4, medium toast) and 75% neutral French oak

Bottling: Unfined and unfiltered

Alcohol: 15.0%
